So, I had a recent submission of a Rainbow Dash figure (featured at the bottom of this post) with a different styled mane and tail. I wouldn’t normally post pictures of just a Rainbow Dash figurine but decided I could probably make a giant post about styling and decorating your own figures.
I know *I* recently tried styling my own Twilight Sparkle figure and had some difficulty getting her tail to look right. Turns out it can be trickier than it looks! If this interests you, check behind the break!

Wow, that is ridiculously huge.
Pony Jigsaw Puzzles sighted by cheerbearsfan who says they were found in Lincraft, an Australian store. Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Princess Celestia look to be the same old pose as usual but the others look different! They also reported there were no Twilight Sparkle or Spike puzzles to be found. :(
So today I had a big stupid adventure involving my tire being flat and having to be ferried around by my awesome friends whom I do not deserve. ORZ
BUT in the middle of all that madness, while we were waiting to hear that my tire could not be patched and I needed to buy a new one (;____;) me and Desi found some pony blind bags at WalMart! And after lots of intrepid snooping (ie peeking through the small hole in the bag) we selected ponies and I wound up getting the sparkily Rainbow Dash (#24 up there)! So my day was 20% cooler.
Of course then I came home and found out there was a way easier way to do that so I’ll be going back and grabbing regular Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy at some point. XD

I’m totally reblogging this for that helpful way to determine what’s in a blind bag, though. I’ll have to check myself next time I find myself in a store that sells them.

Even though I have never been to a Costco, I’m so glad to see a lot of this stuff! It’s a lot of stuff for the price she paid. (US$10, but it might vary at different Costcos) Two hardcover books! Official G4 coloring books! FOUR Posters including one of just Princess Celestia! A color your own blank poster thing that made me wonder if it’s possible to paint it with watercolors (probably not successfully). FOUR pages of stickers!
I have a few merchandise posts for today so I hereby declare this Merchandise Monday!
The other day I was out shopping and intentionally checked just happened to walk through the toy aisle. I spotted these mermaid merpony toys of G3 Rainbow Dash, Cheerilee, and Pinkie Pie. According to the packaging, any normal pony turns into a merpony when they find themselves in the water so they don’t have to worry about encountering trouble. So G3 ponies can apparently change their species at will? To what is sort of like a sea pony, but not quite? What is up with that?
I also spotted a G3 pony apparently named Shenanigans. It made me laugh. It sounds like she’d get along really well with Surprise or G4 Pinkie Pie.
The last time I looked at My Little Pony fruit snacks they were still G3 snacks. Looks like they upgraded! :D :D :D
ETA: I can even make out Dash’s wings on the box!
