Nice! I like the grunge look for Pinkie Pie, it’s very different from what most people give her!
RD: *sniff* Just because I don’t like flowers and other labeled “girly” stuff and I’d rather tear up the dirt track instead of having a picnic or a tea party or whatever doesn’t mean I don’t feel… It gets to you after a while.
PP: There’s more than one way to be a girl Dashie~ and I wouldn’t want you ANY other way <3
This is in response to the unusually large handfuls of these messages I get. Most of the time I just delete them automatically. I would like to give them the benefit of doubt that it was meant to be in a sarcastic or legit unknowing manner. But after a bit it gets to be annoying and today for whatever reason it made my blood boil. I’m just hoping that my wording doesn’t detract from the important of this.
I’m totally jumping my queue. I got teary eyed seeing this. I wish I could give her a hug after that, too.
Though I wouldn’t consider myself a tomboy, I’m a woman that doesn’t dress up or wear make up or like “girly” things either. The fact that it’s even called girly stuff is a problem. Between dealing with that kind of thing and other rampant sexism, it gets frustrating. I’m so glad to see a blog like this sending a positive message about women and ideas of gender using a great strong female character. :)
